How to activate Soul Burst

Tap the icon to transform; the burst consumes the battle slot for that transformation and cannot be toggled off until the fight ends.

Multiple party members can each hold a Burst Crystal, but only one Soul Burst can be activated per battle across your entire team. This rule shapes team building: you cannot chain two bursts back-to-back on turn one with two crystal holders.
